Let’s go Halloween shopping in November!

“Um, Miranda,” you might be saying, “I hate to break it to you…but Halloween shopping season is over. All you’re going to find is the gross candy no one wanted for 90% off.”

And yes, you are right about that as far as in-person shopping goes. But thanks to the magic of the Internet, we can make Halloween shopping all year long.

This weekend is a perfect time to do just that! The Saturday following Thanksgiving in the U.S. is called Small Business Saturday – it’s a day to support the small or locally owned businesses you love as the holiday shopping season kicks off.

Many of the small businesses I follow that sell cool Halloween goodies are side-hustles or run by a single person. It is a ton of fun watching them grow, and I love supporting them when I have a few extra dollars in my budget.

I’ve rounded up 11 of my favorite shops I’ve discovered and bought from in 2017 and encourage you to support each one this holiday season. (Looking for more? Check out last year’s list here.)

11 Spooky Shops to Support this Small Business Saturday:

Darling Ghoul

I discovered Keely’s shop on Etsy over the summer and fell in love with just about everything in it! She has the perfect blend of spooky and cutesy – especially in all her amazing Halloween throw pillows!

Sam Heimer

These prints make me want to redo my entire home with nothing but killer Halloween art. My favorite piece from Sam Heimer is the “N is for feelin’ normal one night a year” print, but really? You can’t go wrong with any of them!

Murderous Jewels

Whether you need a bat bangle bracelet, a steampunk skull necklace or a meat cleaver necklace to top off your favorite outfit, Lynn over at Murderous Jewels has you covered! (See more of her jewelry in this post.)

Naked Eye Studio

When I’m looking for Halloween odds and ends, I always stop over at Naked Eye Studios’ site. She has a bit of everything – stickers, candles, enamel pins, art – and every last thing has a bit of spooky flair to it. (Plus, she’s a fellow Texan! #TexasForever)

Cauldron of Color

My friends at Cauldron of Color have some seriously gorgeous horror prints. Can you describe horror prints at gorgeous? Oh well, I just did! They were kind enough to give me a Jason print for my Friday the 13th giveaway, and I was so in love with the colors and quality. Plus, you can’t beat their prices!

Bewitchin Stitching

I’ve loved cross-stitching since I was a girl. It was always a fun summer project I enjoyed, so I immediately fell in love with Janet’s Halloween cross-stitch pictures when I discovered her on Instagram this year. Cute, unique AND handmade!

Creepy Cute Bootique

Alexandra has been a longtime Instagram friend of mine, and I adore her little boo-tique on Etsy! There are always tons of fun – and affordable – goodies to enjoy.

House of Wax Melts

Want your home to smell like Halloween…all year long? House of Wax Melts has an awesome selection of gorgeously colored wax melts with all kinds of fun Halloween and horror names, like the Camp Crystal Lake melts they gave away in my Friday the 13th post! (It smelled amazing…and I’m a girl who is very picky about scents.)

Two Ghouls Press

Two Ghouls Press is another Texas-based business I love. Enamel pins, patches, magnets, pennants, candles…they have a bit of everything. I definitely recommend checking out their unique Graveyard Shift candles – each one comes with a limited edition enamel pin inside!

Copper Cat Apothecary

Jenni’s Ouija planchette soaps ended up on my birthday wish list this year, and I love all the amazing bath products she continually puts out! Drop by her shop for some fun – and spooky – bath goodies.

Dulce Calaveritas

This gorgeous shop is loaded up with TONS of Halloween accessories from enamel pins to jewelry, hair accessories and so much more. I always love browsing their Etsy shop for fun Halloween finds!

What spooky small business are you supporting this weekend?

I’d love to hear more about your favorite shop – share it in the comments and let me know which one of these spooky small businesses is straight up your alley.

Then stay tuned because next week I’ll be sharing my second annual gift guide for Halloween lovers, which is the official kick-off to my first-ever Spooky Christmas! It’s jam-packed with even more Halloween goodies you can give your October 31st-lovin’ friends…or put on your own holiday wish list!

Happy haunting,

Miranda | Spooky Little Halloween

She is addicted to pumpkin guts, witches’ brews, skulls and all things spooky and celebrates her favorite day of the year with her annual party, Halloweenie Roast, each October.
