Halloween 2018 Home Tour: My Living Room

?>

Today we conclude my Halloween 2018 home tour with a look inside my living room!

All October posts are part of the Countdown to Halloween!

This is always one of my favorite areas to decorate because I spent a LOT of time here in October. This year, I completely redid the wall behind my TV and, if I’m honest, I probably overdid it a little…but I decided a bit of excess Halloween was okay for a year. Sometimes you just need to live life unedited, y’know?

My style (and apartment!) have definitely evolved over the years. In case you’re interested, here are some posts of my living room from past years:

Today I’ll give you a 360-degree tour of my 2018 living room decor, and at the end of this post, I’ll share how YOU can submit your home decor photos to be featured on Spooky Little Halloween next Tuesday, October 16. (Hurry – submissions close Sunday night!)

For now…onto the third and final home tour of Halloween 2018!

Halloween 2018 Home Tour: My Living Room

This is probably where I should have started my home tour this year, but oh well! I changed up my door and kept things simple and classic this year.

Now…let’s go into the living room!

I love my cozy little living room.

It feels even cozier with lots of Halloween touches.

Welcome to the Spooky Little Apartment! But…don’t eat that candy. It’s a good two years old.

I’m excited to use this skull light to decorate at my party this year!

And I’m thrilled I got my hands on all three of these neon lights from the Target dollar section. (Here’s how to locate hard-to-find Halloween items.)

Where all the blogging magic happens.

My post-Halloween project is to get all these killer Halloween prints into frames, finally.

My jack-o-lantern lived here last Halloween…and never got put away. I love his soft glow when I’m working on projects at my desk.

The perfect spot to curl up with a spooky book…

Watch out or you’ll end up in that book!

I’m usually not one for animatronic things, but I fell in love with this silly haunted radio at Target two years ago…

These dollar store signs are some of my favorites.

This silver skull stays on my coffee table all year (see it here), but for Halloween I switched out my regular books for some Halloween ones.

Just a few of my favorites!

I love decorating with candy corn, and filling up this vase with a ton and a candle is an easy way to add to the Halloween vibes.

My TV and bookshelves are my main focal point, and this year…Halloween kind of threw up all over it.

Is it too much? Hmm…

Do I care? Nope!

The top of this bookshelf is one of my favorite spots.

Last year I went vertical with my decor, and this year I did it again…and added my McDonald’s Happy Meal pails to the mix!

I love this moon and the bats at the top of my wall.

My favorite sign!

The nighttime view!

This sign was my fave find at Joann’s in 2017.

Want your Halloween home featured on Spooky Little Halloween?

Next Tuesday, October 16 I’ll share YOUR Halloween home tour photos on the blog! Want to be considered? Head to this form to submit your information.

And if you want a hint as to what catches my eye, here are a few things I’ll be keeping an eye out for:

  • Unique, eye-catching displays
  • Themed decor
  • DIY decor
  • Decor with great stories behind it (like how you incorporated a family heirloom into your decor)

I can’t wait to see what you guys share and feature some of you on the blog!

Happy haunting,
