Shop spooky this Saturday! You may already know that in the United States the Saturday following Thanksgiving is Small Business Saturday. (In the UK, it’s the first Saturday in December!) In the midst of my entire country acting like the materialistic fools we are…it’s nice to be able to support the little guys!

So why not shop spooky?

I’m a lover of all things unique, so any opportunity I have to check out and share small businesses is an opportunity I will take. And since we’re about Halloween 365 days a year here at Spooky Little Halloween, I’ve rounded up a list of spooky stores (all with online shops!) you can check out and support this Small Business Saturday.

Read on for my picks + a peek at some of my favorite offerings from their stores!

14 Spooky Stores to Support on #SmallBusinessSaturday

Akumu Ink

akumuink.com

Akumu means “nightmare” in Japanese, and the crew at Akumu Ink has fun clothing and accessories featuring their nightmarish artwork. From spookified childhood classics to murderous skellies, their collections have a little something for everyone. My favorite part? These goodies are truly one of a kind – designs might get altered from collection to collection, but once a design sells out it’s never sold again. Hell ya for one-of-a-kind items!

Casper Spell

casperspell.wordpress.com

The whimsical world of Casper Spell will definitely cast a spell on you! I ran across the Casper Spell Instagram account last Halloween season and fell in love with their penchant for sharing spooky music before discovering they also sell some awesome T-shirts. I love the mix of vintage and whimsy in every design.

Cavity Colors

cavitycolors.com

Aaron and Ricki, the duo behind Cavity Colors, love Halloween just as much as me. And that love is 100% apparent in their work! Their site is FULL of awesome apparel, pins and patches, prints and more – each design a little stranger than the last.

By the way, the brand’s name comes from a phrase coined to mean colors that invoke a craving for something sweeter in life. Let that sink in for a moment, and you’ll realize how genius it is for a Halloween-friendly brand.

Creepin’ Around

 etsy.com/shop/creepinaroundshop

As soon as I saw Creepin’ Around’s rotten Christmas pin, I knew I had to have it for my purse in December. This Etsy shop is a new find for me and has a nice little collection of horror pins available. And honestly, this might be the nicest quality enamel pin I’ve ever bought. Go check ’em out for some spooky flair.

The Creeping Museum

creepingmuseum.bigcartel.com

The Creeping Museum has some seriously cute and creepy enamel pins. Their store just opened this year, and I’m so excited to see where they go next! My fave part of their biz? A portion of proceeds from every sale is donated to a charity that corresponds with the pin. Look cute and do good!

Dark Fawn Jewelry

instagram.com/darkfawnjewelry

I literally drool every time Dark Fawn posts a new goodie on Instagram. This jewelry, made by a third generation silversmith, is absolutely STUNNING. So many gorgeous stones and beautiful sterling silver. I want it ALL.

She also has an Etsy store where items are listed, but Instagram is the best way to keep up with her latest creations. She’ll let you know when new items are being listed!

Dark Town Sally

darktownsally.storenvy.com

I want to wallpaper my bedroom in artwork from Dark Town Sally. Dark and whimsical is the way to my heart these days, and Dark Town Sally accomplishes both! There’s a variety of print sizes and price points in the shop, with some prints starting at just $5, which makes this a super affordable pick for your spooky shopping needs.

Eclectic Home Artistry

eclectichomeartistry.com

Next time I buy a bookshelf…I’m buying a coffin bookshelf! And, lucky for me, my Twitter and Instagram buddy Candace makes some absolutely stunning ones. From display boards and coffee table pieces to full-size shelving units, she has a little bit of everything. Plus, she also takes custom orders. Check out her site, and get in touch with her about a custom piece!

Em & Sprout

etsy.com/shop/emandsprout

If cute Halloween is your thing, Em & Sprout is your store. Enamel pins, stickers, jewelry, pouches, dresses…there are SO many adorable goodies to pick from. Personally, I’m completely obsessed with that teal dress – the fabric screams, “MIRANDA!!!”

Hello Salem

etsy.com/shop/hellosalem

Hello Salem is one of my favorite Instagram accounts I follow. Throughout the day, I get to see snapshots of life in Witch City, and it’s pretty dang magical. It’s like I’m transported there rather than just dreaming of visiting someday.

The account owner, Ty, recently opened an Etsy store to sell prints of his photos, and the best part? All proceeds (through May 19, 2017 at time of this post) go to St. Francis House of Boston which serves the homeless community in Boston. Doesn’t get better than spooky art and supporting a good cause, does it?

Killing Me Softly

etsy.com/shop/killinmesoftly

If you’ve been following along since early this Halloween season, you know I am 100% OBSESSED with throw pillows these days – esp. Halloween throw pillows. I somehow managed to acquire six (EEK) of them this season, but I still have my eye on the ones from Killing Me Softly. (Throw pillows are how I found them.) Their work is that perfect blend of cute, creepy and whimsical, which I adore, but their store includes so much more than pillows! Go check ’em out on Etsy and enjoy browsing every last item.

La Creeperie

lacreeperie.com

Enjoy spooky reads? Then La Creeperie is THE online bookstore for you! Halloween reads, metaphysical, horror, supernatural, paranormal, true crime…there are TONS of amazing finds, and they specialize in hard-to-find editions and books. Plus, on the weekends La Creeperie shares spooky vinyl finds on Instagram! It’s this bibliophile-slash-vinyl-jukie’s dreamland!

Mortal Threads

mortal-threads

mortalthreads.com

Earlier this Halloween season, I did a round-up of some of my favorite spooky T-shirts…and since then, I keep spotting new places like crazy! Mortal Threads is one of those. If you dig topical T-shirts with clever sayings and fun artwork, check out their site.

Verona Black

etsy.com/shop/veronablack

I keep telling myself as soon as I have some extra cash…I’m going to buy everything in the Verona Black store. It’s all so cute and so my style! And I can never have enough little zipper pouches for organizing my purse. You also know how much I love decorating with candy corn, so I was floored by her candy corn necklaces she started making this year! Head over to her site to find a Halloweenie treasure.

Which store is your favorite find?

I’d love to hear what you love or what store you would add to this list!

Don’t forget to shop these stores for Small Business Saturday! (Or any day, really, because they are awesome.)

Happy shopping,
