Forget Christmas lists – can we make Halloween lists? Every year, I find myself beginning to wander the Internet around July 15th in search of Halloween collection previews. By August 15th, I am positively antsy waiting for Halloween merchandise to be added to my favorite stores, and come September 15th, it’s clear that I need a second job to afford my Halloween habit.

What can I say? I love Halloween.

My solution to curbing my desire to own everything Halloween-related under the sun full moon is to create a wish list. For the past few years, rather than impulse buying everything cute and spooky I’ve been trying to only buy things that:

  1. Fit into my collection (see how I decorate for Halloween)
  2. That I know I will use for years and years (like this discontinued witch’s cauldron)

It’s worked well, but that doesn’t stop me from wishing I could own everything Halloween. And if you’re anything like me, I’m betting you have a mile-long list of Halloween wants of your own.

The solution? A wish list! Because you never know when you might find one of these gems to make your own.

By the way – I’m giving away one of these items! Keep reading to find out how you can win.

Giveaway! [CLOSED]

This is one for all you gorgeous ghouls (ghostly guys, I hope to have another giveaway for you soon!). I’ve partnered with Jamberry Premier Consultant Stephanie Nash to give away one set of Halloween nail wraps! (Check out her website and like her on Facebook!)

Rest assured, I only share brands I would recommend to my best friend. As part of the giveaway, Stephanie gave me a nail kit and set of Halloween nail wraps of my choice to test out…and wow, have I been impressed! I picked the Eerie Nights wraps and went to work applying them this weekend while watching the first episode of American Horror Story: Hotel. There were so many cute styles to pick from, and Stephanie just added two new glow-in-the-dark wraps this past week! (All Wrapped Up and Glowing Ghouls, which aren’t pictured above.)

I tend to be a little tough on my nails during normal day-to-day activities. I’ve tried the drug store nail decals in the past, and they’d almost always start to peel or chip after just a few days from my regular activities.

As you can see from Instagram, these babies are looking great – and that’s after cleaning my whole apartment, doing 2-3 loads of dishes, 5-6 loads of laundry, taking two showers AND writing all day at work. The nail wraps still look as perfect as when I put them on Saturday. And the best part is, I still have enough to do my nails again, plus two sets for my toes!

How to get your own:

It’s pretty simple: I’d love for you to join the Spooky Little Halloween newsletter! Once you’re signed up, you’ll receive some bonus content from me no more than once a full moon. (That’s once a month for you less spooky ghouls.)

“Spooky Little Extras” will include everything from bonus cocktail recipes to party ideas to behind-the-scenes looks at my own Halloween party before my guests even get to see what I have in store! I’ll keep Halloween-inspired content coming your way all year long.

Sound good? Then hit the big orange button to get yourself entered!
